Dr. Esraa Abohatab

Dr. Esraa Abohatab MbBCH, MRCPsych

Dr. Esraa Abohatab is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with extensive expertise in neurodevelopmental conditions. She currently leads the ADHD and partnership pathways at Central Manchester CAMHS and is an Approved Clinician with Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

With a strong background in diagnosing and managing complex ASD presentations in children and adolescents, Dr. Abohatab brings a multidisciplinary and evidence-based approach to her work. She has been actively involved in research on digital psychiatry, quality improvement projects in CAMHS, and clinical training initiatives to enhance care for young people with neurodevelopmental disorders.

Dr. Abohatab is also a recognized trainer by the General Medical Council. She has delivered formal and informal training for paediatric specialists, medical students, and foundation doctors. Her expertise extends to simulation-based teaching and Balint group facilitation.

As a speaker, Dr. Abohatab combines clinical experience, academic research, and teaching excellence to provide practical, real-world insights into ASD assessment and management.
